Dr. Ben Boone, M.D.

Dr. Boone grew up in Versailles, KY. He attended Centre College in Danville, KY, where he obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and graduated summa cum laude as Valedictorian of his class. He obtained his M.D. at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a Woodruff Scholar, graduated summa cum laude, and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. He then went to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN, where he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship. His research there focused on systemic lupus, infection prevention, and quality improvement.

Dr. Boone is married to his lovely wife, Trinity, and has two young children, with whom he loves experiencing all sorts of outdoor adventures. He is an avid cook and enjoys running, home-roasting coffee, and sharing fine bourbon with friends old and new. He has followed in the footsteps of his older brother, J.B., in more than a few ways — culminating in his enthusiastic joining of Rheumatology Associates PLLC
