Dr. Boone

Dr. Boone is a proud native of Versailles, KY. He performed his undergraduate studies at Centre College in Danville, KY, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He received his M.D. at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, where he was also elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. He completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and subsequent fellowship in Rheumatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He has published research in systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis and bone health, and has presented his work multiple times at the American College of Rheumatology’s Annual Meeting.

Beyond loving basketball (to a quasi-religious level) and horse racing as all proud Kentuckians do, Dr. Boone enjoys playing soccer, reading history and painting with oils. He and his wife, Rachael, also love to travel and try new cuisines.
